It's Ramadan time and this is the mezze at Karam, a very popular local upscale restaurant in the newly reconstructed downtown Beirut. We were lucky to get a table - the place was festive and hopping, and the food absolutely delicious.
If it is not already obvious, I love to cook, eat, and travel. I prefer comfort food in unpretentious surroundings. I spent the last several years as a strategy consultant advising life sciences, technology, and nonprofit organizations. I helped co-found some startups, and now focusing my efforts on writing. I live in Princeton with my husband and two little boys.
